Ambassador Rosenblum Visits Atyrau City
Ambassador Rosenblum visited Atyrau State University and Atyrau Oil and Gas University to meet the next generation of movers and shakers. Both universities host U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistants as part of our efforts to increase English skills for future economic growth opportunities.
Ambassador Rosenblum met with alumni of U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan’s exchange programs to hear about their dreams and aspirations. We look forward to deepening people-to-people connections and increasing the ranks of our alumni in the years to come.
Ambassador Rosenblum met with Fulbright English Teaching Assistants currently serving in Atyrau universities and took in some of the local sites. The U.S. Mission is proud to partner with local universities through programs like Fulbright.
Ambassador Rosenblum enjoyed learning about western Kazakhstan’s archaeological heritage on a recent trip to the region that included a stop at Sarayshyk Museum.
Ambassador Rosenblum visited Venus Center for children with special needs in Atyrau. The Ambassador was moved by the dedication of the Center’s staff, who help children have all the education opportunities they deserve and help teach others the value of inclusion.
Ambassador Rosenblum visited JasSpace Center @aydi.kz to see the great work being done educating youth in STEAM fields. This program is an example of a public-private partnership between Chevron, the regional Akimat and Department of Education, and the Eurasia Foundation. Such partnerships have a larger social impact and we are proud of U.S. companies’ contributions to Kazakh society.
