During his visit to the American Corner at East Kazakhstan Library, Ambassador Rosenblum celebrated with the library leadership and visitors 20 years of friendship and partnership with the U.S. Mission in Kazakhstan.








Ambassador Rosenblum and KAFU President Mambetkaziyev opened a new Mediation Training Room and Media Hub funded in partnership with the U.S. Mission.








This year is the 20th anniversary of PEPFAR in Kazakhstan. Ambassador Rosenblum commemorated the occasion by visiting the East Kazakhstan AIDS Center and Kazakh NGOs that provide vital support services to HIV-positive community members.








Ambassador Rosenblum visited Kazzinc plant to observe precious metals production in Oskemen. Kazakhstan is an important supplier for global markets.








Ambassador Rosenblum visited East Kazakhstan Technical University to highlight U.S. support for higher education in Kazakhstan and advancing a green economy.








Ambassador Rosenblum visited Ulba Metallurgical Plant where he was able to witness Ulba’s commercial and nuclear security contributions to Kazakhstan and the international community.








Ambassador Rosenblum visited Kazakhstan’s Anti-Crisis Training Center (ACTC) where the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Global Nuclear Security program partners with the National Guard to develop and deliver premier nuclear security training courses. The U.S. Mission remains committed to its partnership with the National Guard and to supporting Kazakhstan as an international nonproliferation leader.
