Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for hotel and conferencing services. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document and submit it in English via e-mail to lebedevae@state.gov, marked RFQ#19KZ201900002. Offers must contain past performance information for similar services which were provided during past two years.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting the lowest price technically acceptable quotation based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is need to do so. Offers from event organizers not affiliated with a hotel will not be considered.

Issuance of this request does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the U.S. Government, nor does it commit the Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of the proposals.

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Consulate General Almaty Kazakhstan will launch the solicitation on the US Embassy website when it is available. The requirement is to provide Hotel and Conferencing Services to the U.S. Consulate General Almaty during anticipated performance period April 9 – 12, 2019. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Event Organizers will not be considered.  The Government intends to award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive offeror providing the lowest priced technically acceptable offer who is a responsible contractor, subject to funds availability. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.  Electronic Submission/Responses will be acceptable.

All Federal contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
