Vice-rector of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies in Astana Maralbek Eshimov and U.S. Embassy Senior Regional Security Officer Paul Hendricks congratulated members of Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor General’s Office on completing the “Terrorist Cyber Awareness for Prosecutors” (CAP) and “Terrorist Use of Technology Workshop” (TUTW) training. The four-day course was held at the PGO’s Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies where 26 participants had the opportunity to discuss various issues involving the investigation and prosecution of digital evidence. They also learned about the cybercrime imperative facing law enforcement agencies globally. The course was sponsored by the U.S. State Department and delivered by instructors from the Antiterrorism Assistance Program.
