Sale

The U.S. Embassy, Nur-Sultan will be holding a sealed bid auction consisting of 5 (non-custom cleared) vehicles for diplomats and diplomatic missions ONLY on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.

For participation:

Register online by sending an email to Nur-SultanEmbassyAuc@state.gov with your full name and diplomatic ID number/diplomatic passport number. Viewing and bidding will be done in batches of 50 people, on a first come first serve basis. The first 50 people to submit their information will be registered and admitted for viewing and bidding during the 1st time slot: 10.00 am – 11.00 am. The 2nd 50 people to register will be assigned the 11.00 am -12.00 am time slot; and the 3rd batch of 50 people will be assigned the 12.00 pm-1.00 pm time slot. Once registered, you will be informed via email as to which group you were assigned.

The auction schedule:

10:00 – 11:00 Viewing and bidding for 1st group

11:00 – 12:00 Viewing and bidding for 2nd group

12:00 – 13:00 Viewing and bidding for 3rd group

Auction rules:

All vehicles to be sold as-is, with no warranty and no guarantee.  All bids will be made in USD.  All payments will be in USD or KZT, or a combination of both (cash only).  No checks or credit cards will be accepted. To enter the auction buyers should show a diplomatic ID, diplomatic passport, or an employee’s badge from a diplomatic mission as proof of employment. All sales are final. All customs duties and procedures will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Payment: 

Winners will be announced on Monday, June 7th in the afternoon. Payments will be made through the embassy cashier on Wednesday, June 9th and Thursday June 10th, hours of operation: 10.00 am -12.00 pm.

Attention! Do not park along Koshkarbayeva Ave.  Police will ticket or tow your vehicle.

Please park your car next to Highville or Hazret Sultan Mosque, limited spaces are available in the Embassy Guest Parking Lot.

Place of auction: the US Embassy employee parking lot.

Please wear face mask at all times and keep social distance of 2 metres.
