The U.S. Consulate General in Almaty invites U.S. citizens to a town hall meeting in Almaty on Thursday, March 5, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. The program includes remarks by the Consul General, Eric Meyer, and a discussion by Consulate staff on the functions and services of the Consulate, voting in U.S. elections, and recent changes to Kazakhstani government policies affecting U.S. citizens.
The meeting will take place at the U.S. Consulate General at Samal Towers, Zholdasbekov Street 97, Block A2. All guests are required to bring their U.S. passports to enter the Consulate. Airport-style security will be in place (e.g. walk-through scanners, wands to scan the body and bag check/x-ray).
