Lehigh University International Relations Professor Dinissa Duvanova was selected to receive the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. Professor Duvanova will use the Fulbright Scholarship to combine fieldwork for her book project: “Regulatory Discretion and Discretionary Regulation in Post-Communist States” and teaching at Alma University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Professor Duvanova’s field research focuses on state regulation of business and how it affects Kazakhstani investment climate. She will deliver a series of lectures on the theoretical aspects of economic development at the AlmaU School of State and Social Policy.
