The U.S. Embassy wishes to advise U.S. citizens that in recognition of local holidays, the Embassy in Astana and Consulate General in Almaty will be closed May 1-May 2, 2014 and May 7-May 9, 2014. In addition, due to increased nonimmigrant visa volume, the Consular Sections of the Embassy and Consulate will only provide emergency American Citizen Services on the following dates:

U.S. Consulate General Almaty: May 5-6, 2014 and May 12-15, 2014
